Italian Ground Sausage

Italian Ground Sausage

This is a good one to throw into pasta, marinara, pizza, lasagna! It can be as hot or mild as you’d like. 


3 lb Ground pork, ground turkey, or ground chicken
3 Tbs Red wine vinegar
1 Tbs Salt
1 Tbs Ground black pepper
1 1/4 Tbs Dried Parsley
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
1 Tbs Onion Powder
1 Tbs Dried Basil
2 Tsp Paprika
2 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes
3/4 Tsp Ground Fennel Seed
1/4 Tsp Brown Sugar
1/8 Tsp Dried Oregano
1/8 Tsp Dried Thyme


  1. Brown the 3 pounds of meat.
  2. Sprinkle in the remaining ingredients.
  3. Simmer for 15 – 20 minutes on low.
  4. Add into pasta dish of choice or eat plain!
