Gluten Free Sugar Cookies

Quick and easy sugar cookie recipe for the holidays!


2 ¾ Cups

King Arthur Gluten-Free All-Purpose Baking Mix

½ Tsp

Baking Powder

1 Tsp

Baking Soda

1 Cup

Vegan Butter, softened

1 ½ Cups

White Sugar



1 Tsp

Vanilla extract


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F
  2. Stir flour, baking soda, and baking powder together in a small bowl
  3. Beat sugar and butter together in a large bowl with an electric mixer until smooth. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Once you blend ingredients with the electric mixer, the cooking dough will be a bit crumbly to start. If you hand mix the crumbly mixture at the end, and push it together, it will start to blend and form into a dough. Roll dough into walnut-sized balls and place 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets. These are also great for cookie cutters.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on the baking sheets briefly before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

Ingredients for Cookie Icing:

1 Cup

Sifted Powder Sugar

2 Tbs

Almond Milk

2 Tbs

Light Corn Syrup

Food coloring (optional)


Mix Together
