Quick and Easy Salsa

Quick and Easy Salsa

This is my go to salsa recipe! It’s not too hot, but it has a nice kick to it. This is great because it’s so easy to make. You can make a big batch ahead of time, freeze the leftovers and then use it in a slow cooker with chicken. I make great shredded chicken taco’s out of this recipe!

Ingredients:

6 Roma Tomatoes
1 White Onion
1 Jalapeno Pepper, w/o seeds
1 Habanero Pepper, w/o seeds
2 cloves Garlic
1 Lime
Bunch of Cilantro
Salt & Pepper, to taste

Directions:

1.     Add the tomatoes, raw onion, jalapeno & habanero to a pot of water. Boil until everything is soft.

2.     Blend all of the hot ingredients from the pot & the garlic, cilantro, lime & salt in a blender.

3.     Once everything is mixed, you can taste and adjust to your preference.

4.     Put the blended salsa in a container and cool it off in the fridge.
